Integration to Mainstream

This programme provides the support necessary for the child to transit into the mainstream  environment.  The child will be guided by the therapist to perform the classroom routines and to participate in the activities scheduled during the lesson in the mainstream. 

 

 

Strategies and constructive support will be used to help the child integrate successfully.  The therapist will identify the skills that are essential but are lacking in the child to work effectively within the normal school setting.  These skills will be taught to the child in separate lessons scheduled in our Centre.  To ensure successful integration, the child is required to be enrolled in our Centre on a regular basis to acquire school readiness skills needed for the integration process.
