Group Therapy Programme

 


Early Interactive Play Group   (Class size: 2 to 6 students, Age: 4 to 6 years)

 

Child is placed in a group of 2-6 students to generalise acquired skills taught in individual therapy sessions. In this group therapy, the child will learn to work independently in the presence of peers and learn to interact and work cooperatively in a group setting.

 

 

 

Skills Development:

  • Awareness of Peers

  • Awareness of Environment

  • Follows Group Instructions

  • Functional Communication

  • Social Greetings

  • Turn-Taking

  • Understanding Basic Rules of Participation

  • Sharing of Materials

Cooperative Play Group   (Class size: 3-8 students, Age: 5 to 9 years )

 

Child is placed in a group of 3-8 students to learn higher level group skills. Activities organised help to promote cooperative and interactive skills. Competitive and leadership skills will be taught here.

 

 

 

Skills Development:

  • Participates in Competitive Games

  • Follows Game-Playing Rules

  • Speech and Drama

  • Developing Leadership

  • Cooperative Project Work

  • Demonstrating Basic Problem-Solving Skills

  • Developing and Sharing of Ideas with Peers

Social Interactive Skills   (Class size: 3-8 students, Age: 7 years and above)

 


Our Social Interactive Skills Therapy is designed to equip students with the skills needed to interact socially with peers. Activities are conducted to address the social skills needed in developing and maintaining relationships successfully in various social situations.
